The exercise “Energize your day” targets in fueling your body with energy after waking up. We recommend you to do this exercise in the beginning of the day, after waking uo and before starting your daily routine.
As other exercises, does also this one bring the best results, if you practice it regularly. The more often you exercise, the better should be the outcome. You might do something wrong, if this is not the case. We even recommend you, to also consult a professional QiGong practitioner. This person can understand, whether you do the exercise correctly and can give you the best advice in person.
Open your mind, let fresh energy in, every day, to achieve your daily goals.
Nevertheless, you can do this exercise already on your own. It is simple. When you start feeling the results, will you know, that you do it correctly. Keep in mind: QiGong is the combination of Physical Postures, Breathing Techniques, Imagination, Attention and your Will (see also: QiGong – General Introduction).
For being able to do this exercise, we recommend to initially follow these instructions:
- Be at a place, anywhere inside or outside a building where you feel good and comfortable.
- Stand up straight, with your feet parallel to each other and below your hips. Stay relaxed and bend your knees, just a little bit.
- Your whole feet stay on the ground. Some tend to be staying on the outer part. Feel the ground below your whole feet. Grab the ground with your feet quickly and let go again.
- Let your arms hang relaxed beside your body.
- Your cervical spine looks straight to the top, with your head is lowered a bit, as if you would focus a point which is around 4 to 5 meters in the front.
- Stop focusing on sounds around. You hear everything, but you do not recognize it, do not focus on them.
- Relax our face, forehead, eyebrows, eyes, mouth. Keep a smiling on your lips. A smile is always a good base.
- Focus on the inside, on your body, on your breath. Breath deeply and slowly. Focus on your breath.
This is heading element
Now follows the movement that should give your body the energizing effect. If someone or something disturbs you it would be great (especially during this exercise) if you complete the cycle, breathing our, before you pay attention to the disturbance. Of course, this is not always possible When e.g. health your health is at risk, stop directly and look for a better place to practice.
Stay there at your chosen place and feel the energy of the place. Positive energy is streaming into your body, through the air you are breathing, the auro of the environment and possibly also the sun on your skin.
Breathing in
Slowly take a deep breath in. While our breath in, simultaneously do the following steps:
- Move your arms up, sideways. The palms of your hands show at each other. At the end of the breath in, they should build a V.
- Shape a small hollow back.
- Push your knees straight.
- Relocate your body weight to the front, onto the balls of your feet.
- Move your head to looking up, into the sky, as long as it feels comfortable.
Finish each moving with completing to inhale.
Breathing out
Slowly breath out again, while you do simultaneously the following movements:
- Move your arms down, sideways, until they are next to your boy again, showing with the palm of the hand to the body. Your shoulders are loose and relaxed again.
- Do not form a hollow back anymore.
- Bend your knees a bit again.
- Spread your body weight on your whole feet again.
- Move your head to looking down again.
In short: Exhaling, move back to the starting position again. Finish all movements with completing to breath out.
Energize every day, to act with full power
This cycle of breathing in and out, please repeat nine times. every morning to achieve great results. Of course, you can also exercise it more often. We recommend to practice an exercise regularly. you can otherwise not count on the result.
